What Is The Best Exercise Machine For Weight Loss At Your Home?
If you’re fortunate enough to have an unlimited budget when buying exercise equipment for your home then this article is going to be of little use to you. Most people cannot afford the type of equipment that you find in the gym so here I am going to suggest some more affordable alternatives that you can put in your home. I am also going to focus on machines that most people could easily fit in their home.
A Static Cycle
Cycling is a fantastic way to exercise and if you are looking to burn calories it is a great option as it exercise some of the largest muscles in the body. This is probably one of the most popular types of cardio machine that people decide to put in their home as it is affordable and relatively compact.
It also has the benefit that it is a low impact machine and so if you are using it upstairs it is less likely to damage a home. You might not think this should be too much of an issue but if you talk to someone who has a treadmill upstairs, especially in an older house, they will tell you that it can make quite a noise downstairs.
The Elliptical Trainer
An elliptical trainer has many advantages over the traditional treadmill. It is a low impact form of exercise, much like the static cycle, and this means you are going to be causing less stress to your body, and your home! Financially, elliptical trainers can be a better option as they are generally less expensive. They have a serious advantage that they do not need a motor to function and this brings down the initial cost of the device as well as any cost of repairs. Many people buy exercise equipment for their home second-hand and this can be risky with a treadmill as the motor could be damaged in this can be hard to tell. Infact, you can make one!
The All In One Gym
If you’re looking to lose weight is important not to forget that you should also be doing some muscular workouts as these can strengthen your body and improve your cardio performance. An all in one gym is not a cheap piece of equipment and it should be seen as an investment. When you break it down and realised how many pieces of regular gym equipment it replaces it becomes very good value. It is also a space saver as it replaces the need for many other types of equipment. When you are considering what type of gym equipment to buy, think about it carefully, as if you are not going to use it then an all in one gym can be a waste of money.
