Ab Workout Routine To Burn The Stubborn Body Fats

I’m often confronted with the question, ‘Why do I not see any results from the work I’m putting into my abs?.’ This is not a question that necessarily has one answer and it might be because you are simply not working hard enough or because you are doing something wrong in your routine. The most common reason however that you are not seeing results with the work you are doing with your abdominal muscles is simply because the work you are doing is not visible.

If you’re working very hard with crunches and other abdominal exercises the chances are that you do have very strong abdominal muscles. The problem is if you have fat around your belly then no matter how many exercises you do you won’t be up to see them. Therefore it is very important that you burn the body fat around your waist so that you can enjoy the hard work you are putting into your abs. This article is going to look at some ab workout routine tips to get rid of fat that is lingering around your waist.

The Food Factor

Don’t think that an ab workout routine is complete when you leave the gym. To get rid of the fat that is around your waist you need to eat right. As a general rule, removing body fat around your waist is around 9/10 to do with diet and about 1/10 to do with exercise. Once you have lost the weight, the exercise factor becomes much more important in getting abs to look truly ripped. There are plenty of guides on how to lose weight but essentially it is about removing the number of calories you consume.

The Ab Workout Routine

First off, it is important to say that if you do not repeat this routine regularly it will not be affected. Exercise is not something you do not do once but it is something that you commit to doing several times a week, if not every day.

If you are looking to lose fat around the waist then it is important to consider the various exercise tools that will cause you some instability. Exercise balls are the perfect option for this and doing simple abs exercises while sitting on one will make them more intense and help burn fat as the body has to work harder to keep your balance while you exercise.

Introduce Weights

There are several abdominal exercises that can be conducted with weights. Like the exercise ball, the weights make the exercise more intense and make it more challenging for your body. These can be especially useful once you have cut down on the amount of body fat in your waist as they will strengthen and enlarge your abdominals. There are also abdominal machines that you can utilise once you cut down on the fat, but until you have done this there is no point using the machines as they do very little to burn fat and only exercise the abdominal muscles in a very intense, muscle building, way.
