6 Pack Abs For Women – Try Double Leg Circles Exercise

Keeping fit and feeling good about oneself is a right everyone is entitled to. Today, not only men but women also crave those beautiful 6 packs. It is no more a thing for female wrestlers only but the wave of 6 packs has took the rest of the the female world by storm too. So for all those women who want those chiselled abs, read on to find the easiest exercise to get them.

First of all, let me introduce you to the exercise itself. For the double leg circles exercise, you need to lie down on the ground on your back, with both your hands on the backside. You then need to contract your lower abs and lift your legs off the floor. In that position, with your legs some off the floor and rotate your legs in circles.

This has to be a simultaneous process in which both your legs are rotated first in a clockwise motion, and then in an anticlockwise motion. Do five circles of each, and then repeat the process at least three to five times. It is important to start slow, and gradually build up the exercise as your resilience and body strength increases. Once you find yourself able to do so, you can go up to 20 circles or so. I found myself doing 15 some three weeks after first starting.

The movement intrinsically generates strength and stability throughout the body, from the core to the stomach to the hips onto the legs. It’s a simple exercise which does not require any gym equipment at all. Within the first few weeks of exercising this routine, I felt a marked change in the muscle tone throughout my hips, thighs, and most importantly, and visibly, the abdominal region.

Let me elaborate on why this is one of the best Pilates exercises. It focuses on the lower abs specifically, which is primarily the best way to achieve a flattened tummy. That is the first step towards that perfectly chiselled look on your stomach. I shed a lot of body fat and flab just by taking out 30 minutes daily doing the circles, and the flatness of the tummy looks great on me, and my friends tell me that too.

The energy to lift the legs and complete the rotation is drawn almost entirely from the lower stomach area, which is where you will first see the signs of flatness, and then eventually, of abs. With a high level of consistency, you will see the effects of the exercise extend from the lower areas of your stomach. Experts often say that of the abdomen, the lower abs is actually the most difficult to target. And in that, take it from my personal experience the double leg circles exercise works great for the lower abs and the love handles.

However, it is important to remember that, like other cardiovascular exercises, the effects of the exercise will only make themselves apparent after a little while. So it is imperative that you stay patient and stick to the exercise, while maintaining a healthy diet that complements your efforts on the floor. Like me, you could exercise with a friend, which is a good way of keeping oneself motivated and keeping oneself going.
